I've not had one in my own two hands, but saw one of the large ones flown while judging the Winter Tour last March. It was flown by a skilled
rider who has attended the races for many years. I can only tell you that he was miserably slow finishing last each race and spending much of the time
fighting with the kite. This person, who historically finishes in the middle of the pack, did atypically poorly this year. The other judges and I
questioned ourselves as to why he didn't change kites after his first miserable defeat.
By watching this kite (for hours) and seeing its performance in the hands of someone I know is enough to steer me away from this model. Peter Lynn
kites are among the best ever, but I have serious doubts about this one.
