Um.....okay, so if it's a good deal but I'm a dude, and could care less if anyone laughs, why would I not pick it up if I'm considering hitting the water to give it a go this summer? It's a Liquid Force Aura 130. I'm about 160lb, 5'8" and our normal winds seem to be 7-15MPH

u can just pretend it's a peace and love kiteboard

but may be the board is made for someone lighter

the otherthing is if you are starting on the water, you may want to look a light wind board. this will help in your progression, and make you going faster.

if you dont want to spend lot of money, why not make your own plyboard

Women's specific boards tend to be shorter, narrower and with a narrower stance. Other than that and as Buzz said, they're the same as any "men's" board. If this is your first board and you're just learning to get out on the water, I would also go with a bigger board. A ply board might be the ticket.

Pretty much every person I have heard of that made a board was happy with it. Specially the Ply Doors for low wind.

The trick, which I learned the hard way, to building a ply board is to do very little to it. Cut out the outline, drill some holes for straps, glue some cheap pads on the deck and go. Maybe add a couple coats of polyeurathane varnish, but that's it. My first board was beautiful, laminated with epoxy, coated with a layer of fiberglass, nice pads, nice straps... but it was so heavy it wouldn't float!

BTW if you're looking for cheap pads, go to your local DIY / Home Depot / whatevers and look for the floor pad squares they sell there. A stack of pads goes for $20 and the left over pads can be used for lots of other projects.

colours and graphics means nothing.

if you can get a good ride / works for you riding style ... go for it

I'm a pretty small guy, and i wanted a board in the 125cm range but super light ... i ended up with a JN Honey 125cm

Colour: Purple/pink
Graphic: Outline of a gril in Dark Purple, and an outline of a flower.

Laugh if you want, but who's laughing when boosting big air. =)

why not have a board with a picture of yourself, your family or pet.
