To quote my grandad. "It don't matter". The one or two percent difference in stretch of the two won't be noticed in a single bridle. To be safe you
could go with the same material it was originally built with. Which kite did you break a bridle on?

Ace. A bush reached out and grabbed it. I emailed pansh and they told
me the weight, but not the material. What kind of line do you think that is on the ace ? It looks like paracord to me. But I'm no line specialist

I would have to look closer but I thought my Ace looked to have the same material for it's bridle as it's brake or fly lines ???
When my Ace caught a branch the next thing I knew I was about 6ft up in a tree. :o

It seems to be stiffer and has lines on it. I don't know why I couldn't use some brake line, but I wanted to ask first.

I'm sure Angus's dyneema would be perfect. I wouldn't think they would use spectra on their bridles and then use dyneema on their lines. It
obviously isn't kevlar.
Now that I think about it, I have some leftovers on a spool of spectra myself. It would've come from a set of 300 lb lines I made for the symphony.
I kept breaking the 200 lb lines. I'm 235 and like to feel the pull. With the leverage of padded wrist straps, you can really take some pressure
from the kite. I never broke lines after upgrading to the 300 lb lines.

Some scrap spectra/dyneema would work fine for it.
I go overkill on my bridles and used a sleeved spectra bridle line. 100 lb for the primaries and 170 for the secondaries.

I sent some 220 lb, and because it was on the same scrap set, some 485.
