Looks Very Nice Dom.

Don't have time to take a long look at it, but its impressive. One suggestion. Make the background image wider. On a 1600px wide screen it repeats on both sides.

You do their website? Cool! One thing you might want to take a look at is that when you go to "used/demo" page, it's hard to read green characters.

I had to look. I have dual 19" monitors and each is set to 1280 wide which is the max for my video card. What size does your monitor have to be at 1600 to still be able to see text on it? I gotta know what else is out there.

dom

is the used/demo page up-to-date there now.
it used to be a static page which was not updated too often.
now it looks more like ads, does it mean, the kites there are really for sale ?

I'm not EXACTLY sure if they are uptodate, i took the ones from the old website (which, your right, they weren't updated very often) so i need to check with ted, i just put them on there so there were some ads to go on there, testing the system!

Hopefully these will, eventually, be fairly uptodate ads though...

What do you refer to when you say size? Text size?

BTW, my resolution is 1680 x 1050

I think he just means the text would appear tiny on a smaller monitor in that resolution, you need to have a giant monitor to have resolutions like this! :)

I clarified my post above to make it clear but it doesn't change when quoted. I imagine the widescreen format would make 1600 and larger more possible. Yes, I was referring to the size that text appears on a screen with the resolution that high.

could this help??

web designer can barely accomodate everyone with different resolutions and screens

I use a 24inches widesreen, with high resolution
most of the time, text is small

So I changed the default font in my firefox setting, to have one size larger than regular.

this can be done by CTRL + and CTRL - goes back one font size smaller

How does "used/demo" section work? Does it show only what Flysurfer-USA offers? or Anybody can posted their used Flysurfer gear there?

I like that idea of single spot where you can shop around used Flysurfer gear based on US.

Good deal! Normaly I go to FoilZone for used Flysurfer but most of them are outside of US. I was thinking "wish there was a US based site...." and you did exactly what I wanted. Thanks.

Oh, btw, my SA2 19M is sold.

Glad to hear it sold! Flysurfers seem to be the only kites i can sell at the moment, it's always fairly easy to shift them...

Not like bloody inflatos, it's nearly impossible to get a dime for a used inflatable!

Why is the used market so depressed with the airrush? Some technology pass it by or what. I'm a fixed bridle kinda guy so far so I'm just lurking here.

reason that LEI dont keep their values is there are too many choices, deals out there

On my local forum, I see add for 2007 used LEI at 75% of their original price but they dont sale.

I bought brand new Havoc in October in the clear-out for 50% of the retail price, no tax. No wonder why a 2-3 yo LEI has no more value.

LEI makers always rush to make new models every year.

Like Armin (from flysurfer) posted on another forum, he wont release a kite just to release a kite every year. When FS release a kite, it's because they have improved a lot. And they keep pretty much a good resell value.
