Need info and member feedback

A friend of mine wants me to make a nasa wing for him to go ski jouring with. I have never skied and would like some advice on what size kite I should make. He likes the idea that the kite packs down really small.

Thanks in advance.

Susan

How much does he weigh?

What are the typical wind conditions (under 5 mph, over 10mph, over 20 mph?)

What type of terrain will you be on (flat or mountain) and how deep is the snow cover right now?

NPWs over a lot of power per square meter and fly in relatively no wind. I don't fly them so I'll let others comment on the sizes but it would be helpful to know the answers to the above questions.
