Pablo! why is my buster 3.0 such a pain to fly...it acts weird in the air....if I set the bridle to wimpy, top knot, then its slow and unresponsive...then if I switch back to the bottom knot the thing gets really lifty but will fall out of the sky with even the idea of brakes .....I just don't get it.... the middle knots dont seem to do much ..if the wind is crazy then the thing is fine...but then I am overpowered....were these 3's made for nukey days for crazy riders?

Sounds strange, how tight are the brakes, I've almost always kept the smaller kites on the middle factory setting and had no problems. They're designed to have the brakes knock them out of the sky, so you've got to either leave the brakes slack or be careful how much you use on the brake turns.

To run them on the high lift setting they have to be at the higher end of the windrange, if you run the agressive setting in low winds the kite will stall a fair bit. Same goes the other way around, if you run the low power settings you may find that the kite ends up spending a lot of time right at the edge of the window and not making much power, If the brakes are slack I'd try moving more towards the middle settings,

With AOA adjustable kites, the best way to setup your foil correctly is set your AOA to factory setting. 90% its probably the middle knot or just one above.

From factory setting, now adjust your power & brake lines, more or less brake tension to your riding style. Now that you have a middle ground you can play around with the AOA settings.

IMO, some of the kites I use have adjust AOA, but i never change it off factory setting, but rather move my Brake Line up or down on the handle side, its faster.
