I have to thank PKF and everyone on this site for everything I have learned and have had a chance to enjoy since I became a member over a year ago. I have met new friends and alot of fellow kiters here. I have got to try many new kites even a land board. I now own several kites and a buggy and I hope it never ends. I have had so much fun with all this I just had to say thanks to everyone again! It is all very much appericated here. I soon hope to go to one of the events so I can meet all the ones I have not met yet It would be great I am sure!:saint:

I hope I can afford to go! Ya know its tax time But I just bought A new 46in Sony bravia TV. PS3. And am getting two new kites for my b-day on the 16th of feb. So I will have to do some side work or really butter up the woman to get to go.Well really she loves to see me kite so it will be back to the money issue. But know this, Blu-ray disks in high def. Is truly awesome to watch.

Actaully, I'm not exactly clear about what a full participant and the other price mean. I took the $50 full participant and have a race # but don't intend to race. :duh:
I'm not sure if the $25 is just to observe or gives you the right to tear it up on the Playa :?::evil: It will be my 1st time also.

I will take NABX over tv any time. $50 fee is if You will be riding 25 if just watch but 50 bucks for a week of using tent,toilets,permits and having all think insured is nothing don't you think , not to say You probably leave more one night in restaurant or bar and fee include meal on Sat night party in large tent.

Dlish , I love my sport and kiting is my passion. I also like to share my hobby with others. Still i don't understand how people can ask stupid questions and watch someone hands thinking they are stilling or trying to make profit. For last 8 months I was involved in helping to bring foreign riders to NABX spending tons of hours ,money and my free time to help some one I didn't even meet.I think this should be the vibe of NABX ,not trying to find if someone did something and why... In the end people that organize NABX have their lives, jobs and trust me nobody makes money here it is the other way around.We make money working not organizing event. Organizing such big event is lots of work and all this is to make us kiters happy. The only way We can pull it off is if You will find group of people that share same passion, get organized and willing to give, not to take... I would like to thank all organizers and contributors for keeping great work making another great NABX year.

sorry , I'm not sure if all that was geared towards me or not, but i wasn't suggesting you were making money I was just asking if you were involved in the event. Again sorry if that was a stupid question. If it hasn't been said before please let me be the first to thank you for your time and effort for the rest of us.

dlish89, the NABX organizing committee is: dean jordan, Blake Pelton, Scott Skinner, Claxton Thompson, Meg Albers. There are several others major contributers. Each works very hard to make this event happen and deserves a big thumbs-up!
