low country blast from the west 2-13-08 south carolina
S.C., Calibogue, south beach 30+mph from west/ SW pegged my meter. real sandblaster ride NPW5 & cheap asian land stick. after about a 30 minute
beating, dropped the lines and ran off the bridle. blistering reach and up wind action. certainly no lift but a truckload of pull. couldn't even see
the board at times the sand that was flying was so heavy. a few unavoidable dwn wind runs that ended with meat tweaking result.

Welcome to the board. This is a friendly and helpful bunch on here. We are all passionate about our kites and flying them. You seem to be a local
guy in a global sense. Can't find Calibogue, SC on the map but you can't be far away. There are other members pretty close to you. Tridude is in
Charleston, and Acampbell is in Brunswick GA. Kullas is in North Ga heading to Brunswick this weekend. You around the Hilton Head area?

yes HHI not much public venue here but when the water seems too cold, poor launch area, tides or any number of site selection issues. it's fair
for idle hands. public access areas i really think are off due to beach traffic and have never attempted. new to the sport (water and land) less
than a year and have really enjoy the kiting. I fly solo and really don't know that many folks but try to see what's out there. l would really like
a dessert ride where an open area to really stretch out my reaches. the dwn mind runs i have done have been in the psychotic catergory. i realize
now but live learn.
peace
