I'm looking to improve the safety of my 5m Flysurfer Maniac.
It's currently a three line system with a safety leash attached to the break lines.

Here are some problems I would like to fix:

1) To launch the kite in depower mode, you have to be hooked in to the chicken loop. I would like to be able to launch the kite unhooked in depower mode.

2) The safety system does not depower as much as I would like. I want to install an FDS to fully depower the kite. Would I have to convert to a four line setup first before adding FDS.


Lastly, I would like to make it so the FDS is activated when you let go of the bar, no unhooking/safety release necesary. Would it be possible to do this while keeping the bar low pressure? (currently it is pressurless).

Is this system possible? , how hard might it be to make. I'd also like to keep it simple(less chance malfunction).

If it makes thing easier I may also be willing to switch to a handles setup would I be able to get the full depower range with handles?

I have been wondering about Flysurfers on handles as well ??? In my case it would be the Speed. Or possibly the Pulse. According to the manuals both are capable.

Has anyone ever put their Flysurfers on handles ?
