vengence from the wind goddess

went out to the snow to try snow kiting.....0-20mph gusts in 1 second...impossible to fly....the wind goddess is pissed....I could not get more than ten feet without getting yanked off balance and a face full of snow to follow...I think I will stick to the buggy and leave the snow alone.......hope your ok sthrasher.....she was mean today....pre windstral syndrome (pws) .... probably...maybe your blaze was the sacrafice to appease the wind goddess...I hope it worked

DQ - You sound pretty resourceful and good with a torch. How about making a snow buggy? I bet you could make some mods that would keep you in the buggy while enjoying the snow.

Go with me for a minute. Remove the tires, add three snow skates. Mounting would require some special brackets. Of course you would need some very small sizes of skates to make this work. Check out the Railz Snowskate from Amazon.com. Use this as the concept for the creation.

Do you know of anyone that has done this before? Each time I am up around Truckee, CA and see the snow fields up there I start to wonder. Sounds like a summer project for next winter....

Theres an idea! Dan will love that. He is in the middle of building one right now I bet. It could get tricky The skis would have to be independent So you won't carve opon turn around but it could be done. If it's not already.
