right kite stake for NABX ?

I am packing up my Ski bag with my bug etc.

What type of peg works and what doesn't on the Playa ?

For sake of light packing I'm wondering if folks just share home stake ?

Should I pack more than the one ?

Lots of people like to use a 4ft piece of rod with a "swim noodle" over it, the idea is not to stake you lines out but to rest your kite on something. Any ground stake works as there are little cracks all over in the clay.

There are some awesome stakes available for Trade, contact Kite Slinger for an order.

One of those metal corkscrews? Overkill. More than needed and if you can't get it screwed in all the way it becomes a hazard to others.

If you don't have a regular kitestake, then one of those metal tent spikes works just fine.

Whatever you decide to use, attach a streamer of some sort to it so others can see it easily. I use 3' strips of ripstop nylon.

Well I got one off on my dead horse of a sewing machine today until my new one gets here

but here's a Maori tribal banner item I'm donating even if I can't make it I try to make sure it get there

deep ox blood red and blk. ...still debating if I want to add any color inlay as I did the other ones.. one thing for sure I wasn't thinking a head I CAN"T DO BLK DACRON for the pole sleeve and i didn't have any 1.50 in wht. but good thing I gave my self plenty of extra to dbl fold and stitch

I trying to get a tribal rev 2 put together as well but I'm out of a few things to complete, like frame and bridles line :barf:
