Mood: Almost on the playa, cant wait!

[*] posted on 21-3-2008 at 06:59 PM

As some of you know, one of my main 'hobbies' is leatherworking (if you can call it that, because it's not my main source of income, but does pay for itself with a little room left over.) I'd post a picture, but a website's a lot easier.

http://www.browncowart.com

I've also been slowly getting into blacksmithing and metal working over the past few years. I do a bit of wood working, though most of that centers around practical this, not fine woodwork. I also do bit of painting, sculpting, etc when time permits.

My bread and butter is web design, programming, animation, illustration and graphic design.

At least once a year I do t-shirt design ;-) (and currently have 5 boxes full ready to haul out to the playa)

Mood: Loving the WIND right now!

[*] posted on 22-3-2008 at 08:40 AM

Now this is interesting, seeing what all y'all do when the wind is down.

Well, not much on my part.....actually....I'm an astronaut on the side....;-)

Well, maybe more like....a love of music, mainly Old Time and Bluegrass (but I pretty much like it all). Play Banjo, guitar, autoharp, keyboard....and a few other instruments. The most relaxing is a Native American Flute.....it can be very haunting and beautiful.

I love Spelunking. Spent many hours alone in caves....couldn't get anybody else to go where I was caving.

Used to Scuba Dive...haven't in a long time. Tried Powered Paragliding, and still kite the paraglider....sold the motor.

Enjoy electric RC planes! Got a WWII Corsair that makes me wanta throw down the radio and run when I dive at myself.

Enough....I'm enjoying reading all of y'alls adventures!!

Great thread Wexler....thanks!
