Survived downhill session with ATB!


I'm pretty sore but I survived. We've got a little toboggan hill just across the street that's actually a big bowl so I went down one side, up the other (walking) then back down and so on. I learned two things.

1) those tires don't do so well on the remnant snow we've got on the north facing slopes of the bowl....which led to the following lesson:

2) the ground is A LOT harder when there isn't a foot of snow. Impact shorts are in my future for certain!

Loads of fun and amazing the carve radius and response - can't wait to get the kites out with it now! I was a little shaky going goofy down the hill but managed and actually found I had much finer steering control with my right foot forward but not so much with the balance ; )
