Snowbirds new top speed
Dagon may have gone 50mph but we shared a run and we held at steady 30 mph together. :cool2:. That was a consistant speed that afternoon. I will have
picture proof of 31.2 . I'm sure I beat that by a little bit but had passed off the GPS.
It was SO COOL to be able to cruise with the buggy nuts at a speed that they all agreed was fast even on the buggy
I never felt out of control at 30 + I agree that it's dangerous to go too fast on blades in a field but on that Playa I haven't found my limit Next year 40 is my target :duh:
What an amazing experience. :tumble:
THANKS to everyone for sharing the GLORY DAYS with me :singing:

I just got my first ride in my buggy on Friday. I doubt it was
anything like your speed but it felt like a hundred miles an hour to me... My jaw hurt so bad from laughing and giggling like a chick.
I'm hooked.
Congrats on the personal best!

One of my most memorable moments was meeting up with my know it all brother Thrasher, challenging him to a race and then slowing down so he wouldn't
feel toooooo bad :wink2:
It was great to meet everyone and to feel welcome even though my passion isn't 100% buggy yet. ( not old enough :wink2: )
The whole mix of Blokart, kitewing, buggy , board, dirtsurfer, blades and AOXO make for my perfect world !!!

I started skiing on short fat skis back in the 70's and it reminded me a LOT of riding them in corn snow. Only a perfectly flat surface. As I
mentioned I never felt the least bit beyond my limits and truly believe I'll hit 40 next year. 30 was a super fun and comfy cruising speed. Even more
fun when chasing and being chased by buggy nuts !
So practice up Thrasher ! The challenge is on !!!!
Stace. I wish you were there. I thought I saw you a couple of times but was mistaken. LOTS of pretty girls there

Cool goal.
I finally put some batteries in my GPS and plan on seeing how fast I can wind it up this weekend. Road trip plans are all coming together, and Ebay
and PKF members helped pay the way...
Always used to love reading an article titled "There's this place..." in a sailing magazine. It was about these cool little places to go off the
beaten path.
We're going to one of those this weekend (the windguru site gives it a three
star rating for saturday afternoon!)
Scorpions, Access's and GPS are all ready to roll and I feel the need for speed. (the windguru site gives it a three star rating for saturday
afternoon!)
What do you do with your foils?
Charger 8, 12, 19
Scorpion 10, 16
And other foils...
Flexifoil Bug, CrazyFly board, MBS atb
