Think it's worth trying?
Found at Canadian Tire (an auto parts / hardware / home improvement / sporting goods kinda store). They call them Scorpions. Here's what they say
about them:
Quad-coil spring suspension provides unsurpassed stability, directional control and steering
Perfect for everyone: the recreational skater, the thrill-seeking skater or anyone looking for a fun and exciting alternative fitness option
Adjustable size, "Strap n' Go" ratchet fastening, Lightweight with robust construction
Multi-terrain capability, Straps directly onto shoes
For use on the following surfaces: concrete, grass, tracks, nature trails, gravel, cobbles, dirt, pavement, boardwalks, clay, BMX bike tracks
Of course - this store has a great return policy......$99......might give it a go. Anyone seen 'em or tried them?

I went and had a look at them, seems not too bad but definitely $100 worth of getting what you pay for. The skates adjust via a ratchet slide that
screws down on the underside of the skate and adjusted fine to fit my size 9 runners and my brother in laws' size 11 sandals. The box says they have
ABEC 5 bearings and they look quite replaceable. The tires are hard rubber and appear to be quite solidly attached to the wheels.
They hold a pretty good deal of lateral pull and feel solid underfoot BUT the two-strap system doesn't hold a shoe firm enough and I felt that they
may be prone to too much play trying to hold a lot of edge in motion.
I'm gonna hold out and see if anyone here happens to have tried them. Might go halvsies with the brother in law.

Looks Interesting! Can't seem to find them online, or in a store in the USA? Anybody seen them here yet, or know of a good online source?
