I do realize this thread Is 2 years old. But I have just recently bought a trainer kite and started landboarding. I live about an hour straight north
of Wichita. I've heard of the old airport but never been there. And I talk to a few guys that kite Cheney regularly, but I don't have kiteboard gear
so I've only gone to see them once.

Soccerflyer are you still kiting? I just found this site and see your last post was in 2009. I live in the Omaha area and saw my first kite skier
today and would like to git involved. Like Kansas we get some pretty good winds here also. Any info would be great.
