ATB/Kite for heavier person?

Hi All,
Just found this forum, and thought I would post my first question. I am 43 years old ( I know, old enough to know better! ) and I am an ex body-builder. I weigh around 17.5 stones, not fat, just heavy!
I was recently bought a Beamer 3.6 for a present, and I am totally hooked! I now want to move onto boarding, but need a bit of advice as to a good board for use mostly on a beach, but also on grass which I can use. I will of course be acquiring more kites for my kitebag too, but for now, can some-one recommend a good heavy duty board for me?
Oh, and a good buggy while your at it !!
Thanx in advance,
Gary.

kite atb board

Hi in reply to your quest for a board
I waigh 16.4 stone and I bought a
MBS comp 26X The weight range is 150 to 250 pounds Well within the range of 17 stone

What is good about regular mountain boards is that you can practice using the board doung downhill

kite boards like the flexi line are designed for the pull of the kite and not really usefull for any thing other than kite boarding.

Just my 2 cents
