6' 8" Hamboard Skateboard

Such a smooth ride

I've been using the Hamboard lately when the fields are too wet for the Dirtsurfer.

This 6' 8" longboard skateboard is massive, but once you start riding, the board carves like no other.

And, it fits within the Mini

I've been using NPWs (2.4m to 15m) directly off the handles in empty parking lots.

The board sports 97mm ABEC 11 Flywheels with ABEC 7 bearings. There is a clear coating on the board that is really tacky and there is no need for griptape.

Overall, it's just a blast to ride  Try one if you get a chance!

Bolt a universal joint on the nose of that puppy and you'll have a nifty parking lot windsurfer. I built one that looked almost exactly like that a bunch of years ago and it was a lot of fun. Used a cheap mast, boom and smallest sail I could find. Spent hours during the yuchy months in Ohio on that thing and even made the 5 o'clock news one time. The advantage this rig has over a kite is that you don't have to worry about power lines and small lots. I even rode it on side walks (got some pretty weird looks that time). Very sweet ride, enjoy!

Unfortunately not. It's real simple to do though, all you have to do is drill one hole in the deck -in front- of the front truck for the bolt in the universal/power joint. This had to be 15 years ago. Another guy added skates to the trucks and used his on ice. Good fun!

If you have any windsurfing gear, all you need to do is bolt your mast base to the board, and your set!

It works for sure. Clean and simple. A fellow showed up a couple of times when I had my old parking lot with a rig just as described. He was rippin' it up. It was my 1st experience in sharing a space with someone.

I wonder where he's riding now :ticking:

Wow! those look awesome man! I used to skate a lot and that would definitely help around the winter times here :P . The only downside is if you fall.... you'll definitely end up on your back ;)
