I thought this was kind of a cool video because most of the KGB action that I've seen is just riding around in a field. This has some rugged downhill
riding. Too bad it isn't longer though. I'd like to see a full video of this footage. And its pretty heavily edited especially the cheesy fake
paragliding at the end. They should have just gotten Chasta to jump off the cliff and fly down for real .
this is what we worked on in hawaii,,,and cheezy,,,lets see you hang your ass off a helicopter and try to fly....no wind for the stunt not even chasta
could pull that,,we asked loads of people to and everyone agreed,
btw.....all ozone gear ground industries and mbs,,,I know the names of all the riders...and and,,,,it the biggest kgb commercial too date....
Yeah, kind of cheesy. I'd like to see a real kite boarding video on that kind of terrain. I suppose Red Bull only cared about getting enough EXTREME
footage that they could turn into a 1 minute ad.
I could tell they were flying Ozone and riding GI boards. Didn't see the MBS.
So are you one of those three guys in the clip above Eli??
red bull didn't film it....13 keys and bob gordon films did....in the end shot those are custom Ozone Speed Flying wings....stunt men from point break
flying them....
I'm not in the clip,,,I was supposed to be but the dates jumped around so much it didn't fit in with other thing I was doing at the time...
Butch, Shawn, Akoni, and 3-other riders that I won't name because they aren't Ozone pilots, rode in the tv commercial...
AK DID THE STUNT Below our buddies helicopter.....
I THINK IT'S PRETTY RAD HOW the producers, KNOWING LITTLE TO NOTHING ABOUT KITING, SHOWED OFF KITE GROUND BOARDING AND IT'S POTENTIAL!!!
The travel Channel did one a few years ago for "travel gear"...they used sunset beach and came out for SOBB to build that episode.
In 1997 I worked in Africa for a "pre-view" for a movie chain in Europe...by Front Line Productions...first time I rode water skiis with an open
celled foil...
I'm not sure this add will play on t.v. in the U.S.
Regarding the kites....I believe a few of them are still available the be bought as demos.
The kites are Manta II's.........sweet all around!!!
