New Addiction
Just wanted to post up as I'm a noob and this is my first post. I've been reading up on here for the past 2 weeks to get some info and there is alot
of great stuff on here. I met up w/ Dlish yesterday. Great guy! He
brought out a couple kites for me to try out and get a feel for the differences. Tried out the Beammer 3m and a Pansh Ace 3.5m. Couldn't believe the
difference. I got pretty confident w/ the Beammer but that Ace has some serious power. I ended up taking the new Beammer off his hands and have no
regrets. Plan on getting an Ace 5m down the road.
Anyway, just want to say thanks to all on here for the great info I have gotten. Without this site I would of bought the $40 ebay special. Thanks
again to Dlish for yesterday and making my first experience a great one. Yep, I'm addicted! Can't wait to get out and fly again!

Derwood,
It was great to meet you yesterday. You made a good choice on your kite selection. We would all be lucky on the forum if there were more people like
Derwood. He actually read and did his homework instead of posting " I'm a newbie and I want a blade IV 6.5m to get 30 ft. jumps" I'm tired of reading
that.
Derwood thinks he's hooked now wait till we get him in a buggy
I think this makes the norcal group 6 D's now

I was just checking out the pics of the sod farm. I'll have to come check it out. I can see me getting into a buggy or maybe on a landboard. Anybody
at the sod farm landboard? Man, I'm gonna have to start selling some of my other toys or the woman is gonna kill me!:D

Flew with Derwood21 yesterday and I can easily say "HOOK LINE AND SINKER"
Very fast learning curve, he seemed to pick it up fast, controlling the beamer very well... flew a 4.5m Legand very well also... biggest deal was it
was pumping a good 25 all day...
Good job Derwood21:singing:

Had alot of fun. I thought my arms would be hurting the most this morning but I think its my a$$! Thanks for all the tips and letting me try out the
kites. Now that I have a good feel of them, I just might have to try the buggy out next time. I keep thinking about that crossfire. I'm going to have
to man up next time and try it out.
