Grab handles on mountian boards
Hi all,
I have just bought a MBS Comp 90 mountain board. Will putting a grab handle on have a negative impact on the deck flex? Do any of you actually use
grab handles or do you just grab the deck when doing no footers?

firstly you can get soft grab handles from dakine/scrub/the new mbs one etc. which have no effect on the flex of the deck... second i couldn't live
without one now - not only for board offs but primarily for just allowing me to easily carry the board around in one hand without it slipping or such
like!
Grab handles are excellent

An excellent option is a plastic replacement handle for a trowel. They can be found at Lowes for about 2 bucks. I have one on my Comp 90 and it is
perfect. I've also seen the use of ~1 inch plastic pipe (stiff plastic plumbing pipe) bent into an arch with the ends flattened to accomodate the
bolts. Both very functional and both VERY inexpensive.
Save your money for the good stuff - kites, boards, etc.:bigok:
