Why does noone fly the HQ apex?

I just bought my first kite, a 7.5m HQ apex (depower foil) and I love it. I will do a review for it when I get more flying time but for the moment I am just really surprised at how little information about this kite there is. I bought it because it was at a really good discounted price (£270 GB Pounds instead of £414 ish) and the one review on racekites.com said good things. I also really wanted a depower kite after having some experience with 4 line fixed bridle foils.

So why have I not seen any post about it or videos on youtube etc (there are exactly two).

Any ideas will be appreciated

Thanks

I hear ya!!!!! I was really really close to getting the Apex 10m as my first depower. but was afraid i was going to outgrow it, bacause i wanted to eventually get into jumping with ATB. Another thing i guess that scared me was the size of the 10m, being a noob and only having at 2.4 and 4.0 Crossfire. Didn't know anything about depower, thought it would be too much for me. Then i got a deal on the Montana II 7.0m and went with that cause maybe the 10m Apex wouldn't be enough for jumping cause it's more of a cruising kite. Even when i first got my Montana it was at least 2 weeks before i got the nerve to hook myself into the (what i thought at the time a Beast) kite. I am happy with what i got right now, but damm my quiver needs to grow. but $$$$$$ is an issue.

HQ Montana 3 9.5m

My Quiver is old...but I\'m a broke kiter!!!

Yep, probably due to competition from Ozone's Access series.

I actually had an Apex 7m that I used a few times. I was very impressed with the stability and build quality.

I the only thing I really didn't like about it was the depower...Guess I was hoping for Flysurfer/Venom 2 depower.

Otherwise, great kite!
