Beamer 3m question

There are 5 knots in the bridal for the brake lines. What knot is the best to attatch the brake lines to get a good feel for the kite starting out. I put em on the middle knot for now but havent gotten out to try it out yet. Im hoping Ill get out this week.

That's a good start. What you'll want to do is move them to the lower knots if you notice that it is difficult to get the kite to the zenith (12 o'clock). Just keep stepping down the knots until it feels right.

When the kite is in the air the brake lines should be a little slack compared to the power lines.

When mine came it said to put it on the 3rd one, and after flying it a lot and a few times in 25mph+ i had to move it back one. But not too much line stretching with that bad boy :D

Generally you want to move the brake lines up on the knots (closer to the kite) for higher winds and loosen them for lighter winds. If when you try to take off and you see the lower skin of the kite pucker around the bridle attachment points, then you are too tight. In such a case the kite will be sluggish to launch and will not reach the zenith, as OreBeamer describes. Conversely, if the kite shoots past the zenith and overflys your head, you want to tighten the brakes a bit.
