Waist Harness Question

I have got a 2007 Dakine Tabu waist harness. I got this harness back in February when i got my first depower. I understand that this harness is in the lower price point. I got it with the spreader pad. latley as i have gotten better with the ATB, i have noticed alot of pain with the spreader bar digging into my ribs but only on the right side. mind you i got the spreader pad to help but the bar slips above that pad. I have taken off the the harness and readjusted the spreader bar hook things, sometimes so tight i can barely breathe LOL. still nothing. i always get a big black and blue mark right under my chest on the right side everytime i fly. Am i flying too long? usually go out for about 3hrs only stopping to drink. Any good sugestions on a good waist harness?:wow:

OH MY GOD!!!!!!! I AM SUCH A NOOB. While researching a different harness i looked at close up of the spreader bar and pad and i never put my spreader bar through the straps on the pad. no wonder it kept slipping up!!!!!! please disregard my stupidity. :tumble: Apparantly i had to write a post only to figure it out a 1/2 hour later.

Glad you figured it out. Those things never seem to hurt so much until you stop. Kiting seems to help you forget about the pain. Having a comfortable harness is SOoooo important ! Not everyone enjoys the same model.
