Deck Composition

I have been researching Ground Industries boards for quite some time, and can not figure out what the advantages and disadvantages between the wood decks found in the Patrol 106, Prodigy, and Flight 93, vs. the composites found in the flight light and the Conflict 106.
So my question is: what are the advantages and disadvantages between wood based decks, and Inverted Cap Compisite and Heliocore?

Advantage: Mainly weight. The composite decks are lighter and have a bit more spring in them. They also look way rad with the graphics and such. Another difference between some of the boards is the bindings. The composite line comes with all talon bindings that are awesome. The AK series and some others come with the Roots bindings. Still great bindings but they are not nearly as awesome as the Talons.

Disadvantage??? Well, they cost more. Other than that they flat rock.

Thats it. I just picked up a composite deck MBS Core 95, compared to my flat wood old board, its amazing. Weight doesn't just effect jumping, but speed, and maneuverability. Not to mention the pop on the board is insane. I hated landboards because, well they didn't handle like my beloved snowboard, but the composite deck get it much closer the before!

alright, thanks for the detailed response. I will definately be getting either the Conflict 106 or the Flight Lite 100. I want the extra pop and manueverablitily so the composite deck is a good thing to have under my feet.
