What do you use them for?

What length lines do you prefer?

What weight (strength) lines do you prefer?

Thank you so much for your time!

i posted something, until i find out who you were. you as a dealer should know what is the correct size to sell to someone.

asking people on this forum, for your business advantage is wrong in my books.

learn to fly before you learn to sell a kite, and possbile sell someone the wrong size for the windrange they want or kiting application.

rant over, sorry to everyone else on the forum.

my three most used are -

PL Venom 13 meter
Access 8 meter
Blade III 4.9 meter

it all depends on the wind speeds and conditions (gusty or not) on deciding which one that I will use. The Blade III 4.9m is a little tore up after dancing with a log but it was and always will be one of my favorite kites - it always gave me what I wanted, and a bit more.

I use all my kites primarily for buggying - I will static fly from time to time but only to get a little fix in - doesn't replace a good buggy session.

Line lengths are generally about 25 meters (82 feet) and this is what I use - I will sometimes cut down an old set to 10 meters to fly in higher winds.

Proffered line weights are 220 kilo power lines and 120 kilo for brake lines - these are for a fixed bridle kite - the depower kite lines tend to be a bit heftier - I think in the order of 250 - 300 kilo for all four lines - not sure though - I got all my depowers second hand.

Most used is the 6.5m Blade, 3m Beamer III, then the 5m Crossfire II (limited chances to fly it since receiving it)

Mostly static but my life is about to change with a buggy on the way. Just starting to think about the land board with some success.

I use the factory lines on all my kites so between 20-25 meters.

I use a ozone access 6m and 10m and lately a ozone razor 5.5, the profoil 3.5 is frequent as well...

all are on 25m lines.

BUGGY!

300kg lines on the de-powers and razor. 220/100 kg on the profoil.

That changes in the fall and winter... the wind picks up, subtract the 10 access and add a 4m access and the razor not so much and the profoil more.

My most flown kite really depends on the time of the year and even the types of weather conditions for the year. It seems like 2 years ago my 5.5 was the smallest kite I was flying but for the past year I've rarely had an opportunity to fly anything bigger than my 5.5 so based on the past 12-18 months, I'd say the most flown are:

2.5 and 5.5 JOJO Instinct as well as my Mac Bego 400 (I recently picked up a 2.5 JOJO RM+ though and I imagine this will replace my 2.5 Instinct).

I use them for kite landboarding, kite skiing and static flying.

25m lines are generally fine for me (though I do have a number of 30m sets I put into rotation depending upon conditions).

Depending upon the (fixed bridle) kite I like 300 - 500# power lines and 150 - 220# brake lines (but if I could have only one set I'd go with 500 / 220 and 25m).

Depower Quiver: 14m Gin Eskimo, 10m Gin Eskimo III, 6m Gin Yeti, 4.5m Gin Yeti (custom bridle and mixer)
Fixed Bridle Quiver: MAC Bego 400, JOJO ET Instinct 2.5 & 5.5, Lil Devil 1.5, Sting 1.2

My 5m Ace gets out the most, then the Blade. As I get more comfy with the blade it comes out of the bag more often, the Ace less often.

I don't fly the other kites very much, my third fly is actually an HQ symphony 2.7 with a 100' tail, I fly it just for fun and to cool down when my arms are pumped (I fly without a harness, safer that way with my skills being a bit meager) I rarely get strong winds (today was an exception, 20+ knots, I was kicking myself for leaving my legends at home on the other side of the world)

I scud and jump, and hope to get some buggy time this summer.

Lines depend on the wind, I fly the lightest lines I can get away with. 25m most of the time.

Ask me the same questions this time next year and I bet you'll get a different answer.

fixed bridles, flying static, been two years now... ??? folks must be wondering....

sting 1.7, dp power 2.5, crossfire 3.2, ace 5, blade iv 6.5, ace 8, ace 12...

also a couple of arcs, 12 syn and 12 phanny, but i\'m not yet up to speed on them.
