Where to buy ripstop?
I finally learned how to use a sewing machine this weekend- whoo-hoo :singing: and I am thinking about making a kite now (2m Gual). Any suggestions
for where to buy coated ripstop? Also, where can I find, and what weight line do I need for the bridle lines? Any other tips for getting started? I
have access to a 42" plotter at work so printing the patterns shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks,
Stace

ditto on kitebuilder.com
Be sure to save money and buy factory seconds. All that means is you wouldl not want to use it on a sail bacause there is a smudge or minor defect
here or there, but when cutting out kite parts you can cut around those.

Thanks for the link, I'll have to check them out as they are local.
So far the factory seconds on Kitebuilder look like the way to go. especially since I am not expecting a masterpiece
