Good Deal or Not?

Hey Guys/Gals - Is this a good deal or not?

I have an opportunity to buy a Peter Lynn Bigfoot Buggy for $400. It is about 2-3 years old and in pretty good shape.

I currently have a Flexi buggy with wide tires. Looking to pick up the PL for soft sand, and so I can race my kids...

So, is this a good deal or not?

I would say its a good deal especially if its true BF and not BFL. I'd like first dibs if you decide not to do it. will you be selling your flexi if you get the pl?

retail on the pl is
BFL $1100
BF $1350
so $400 is a good deal

Current Bigfoot + model wth thicker wall tubing and 20mm axle bolts is $1129. If it is 3 years old it might be the lighter on with 15m bolts but it is still fine, just about 50 something pounds as opposed 72 for the newer. Either way, $400 is cheap.

I really appreciate the feedback. I will go ahead and buy the buggy. I thought this sounded like a good deal, especially when I started looking at the cost of them now, cost of bigfoot tires, etc. At this point I do not plan on selling the Flexi buggy. I have 4 kids that also ride ATB and the buggy. Having two will means more ride time for everyone, and I need to build a rack to carry them both. I have always want to race the kids...

Thanks guys - Greg
