I had some fun yesterday testing out my new buggy cam....it didn't quite work how I had expected as some of the clamps were too loose and allowed for
the camera to spin and pan on it's own. This added some interesting effects coupled with the gremlins that live inside my camera...
Awesome video. Looks like a great day at the beach.

Do you have a pic of your camera mount?
I try to post a pic of the setup later tonight. It's basically part of a tripod with the legs removed and then attached with various bits of hardware
that I cobbled together.

Stopper balls to keep the knots from getting stuck on the spreader bar. (I don't think that I really have this issue with a pulley now, but it did
help when using a regular hook type spreader bar. Also, that strop was really long, but I was too lazy to shorten it when the wind was blowing!
Thats great Stace, and I loved the panning, I have just purchased a new camera bracket for holding a camera, you can fit it on anything from 12mm to
55mm so basically anywhere on a buggy
everybody, make sure it's a waterproof camera. I was takin buggy cam vids 2 weeks ago, w/the cam mounted on my axle. I was gettin great speed runs
in,and this one time I looked at the kite. A big azzzz wave came up on the beach and I went right through it. It splashed all over, but I didn't think
it was too bad... but... It looks like a drop of saltwater went in through a 1/8" phone jack and right onto the circuit board . Fried it
instantly:flaming:, when i took the batteries out they were smokin hot! :flaming: so be careful, or you'll be cameraless(is that even a word?) like
me ( well, I got my camera phone )
here's what I was using it has velcro straps so it fits just about anything. And I'm pretty sure most cameras would screw onto it. I have even had it
on my helmet. http://www.theflip.com/store/Product.aspx?SKU=AAM1N
