Hey Rip,

Probably a silly question...but have to ask it anyway.

If a person is serious about demoing a U-turn, would you ship (if buyer pays shipping of course) or would the demo have to take place 'on site'?

Thanks.

my new set of Nitros are coming. but i'll do one better, I'll pay the shipping to you just so you can demo it. i did this with Tridude.

if i had a million dollars, i'd come visit everyone of you just so i could kite beside you. however i dont, so paying shipping is the best i do, or meet you at a local event. I only seem to attend WSIKF, SOBB, NABX.

i'll msg you again, when the kites are in and setup a demo for ya. also i see your in LA, our US Team Rider "Elkiter" lives in Cali ... dunno how far / close you would be from him. Dakitez has the Butan 6.5, when he's done you could also demo that as well.

your new Haka will bring you that much closer. try a Yak / RM+ / Spirit too.
by NABX 2009, i'll see you out there hitting 60+ near the highway. =)

My most used kite used to be a 6.0 Rage and I'm currently waiting on a PL Reactor 6.4...so because I don't have either, I use my 4.9 and 8.3 Reactors...so something in the 5.5-6.0 range would be perfect.

Not sure about what type of kite either...nitro or butane. Just looking for a fast kite that can handle the inland gusty stuff.

Thanks.

butan is more stable, but still fast. also another way to smooth out gusts is opening up the dirt-outs as well.

gusts are good, helps with the extra A c c e l e r a t i o n!

i'll get it organized and U2U when ready to send.

Sweet...can't wait!

Thanks for the tip on the dirt-outs...

I'm in AZ

Hey Eric,

I am in Tucson. I go out to the dry lake near Willcox, AZ.
Not to familiar with any large flying fields in PHX. I have flown out by Anthem. Good winds most of the time, for the desert anyway. Look me up sometime, maybe we will get out to fly.

Hi, My bro-in-law and I are taking our Ace out for it's maiden voyage tomorrow. Not sure where we are going to go yet. We live in the east valley so we may try Crossroads Park and if that's too small we will head over to Tumbleweed in Chandler.

We're definately down with meeting other kiters in the area. Here's my e-mail if anyone wants to plan a meet up.

Something I've learned so far here in Arizona. Parks = Soccer Practices. Still looking for a good area to kite/board that isn't crawling with youth sports teams. =)

I can't say too much as my son is in soccer, but it is frustrating to get to a field on a good wind day only to find four different groups practicing there.

I envy those with wide open spaces nearby!

I feel your pain McDuck. I have a pretty good size field next to my house and it is so frustrating when the winds good and you put up your kite and then 5 mins later the park is swarming with soccer players.
