How did you or someone else climb that slick pole? Did you save the kite? Did you mean you had to get the kite down or pay a fine? I fly at a
soccer field and I could end up in the same situation if I got surprised really bad. Don't beat yourself up. Stuff happens.

I know the feeling - you see the kite heading towards a snagger and there's nothing you can do. But hell or high water isn't going to keep you from
getting back your baby. I've crashed into a power line and was so stupidly committed I didn't let go. I guess Ozone Access's aren't conductive dry.
I hope you got your kite back after all that work.

I think I would have paid the fine or paid somebody (not myself) to go get it for me

no safety, had a regular seat harness on me and a helmet, oh and yeah it was blowing 10 knots or so, the kite is RIP, beyond repair, had to use
scisors to cut the bridle, then found some old man and he bought the remains of me for 200$, i was happy that got even that. anyway, I now have a
domdino's pulse 2 12, it rocks

LOL ... i knew someday this would go public (passed PKC)
i cant help it that our park is so small, and i'm after some speed, so i push the limits of our park.
if you want a report this is what i've managed to do with a kite and my body.
Kites in Bushes and Trees (one time i got this kite stuck up a tree so high, i was ready to leave it behind, but DS and Kitemama went after it)
Kites in Light Post (Dirtslide as well, he left a kite up at a school lamp post for months)
Kites in the parking lot
broken rib from my harness
broken pinky toe from hitting the park bench
several burses, cuts, etc.
however its all part of the fun of "extreme" kiting.

when i saw your pics Bloah it did remind me of the areia 7.5 raptor i left wound around the lights at our local soccer field the poles were 60 ft and
there was no way you get it unless i hired a man lift and i was told the ground was to soft for that so i just walked away .every time i drove by that
park i would look up at it rotting in the sun and smile ,i didn't like that kite anyways would tell myself .after 4-5 months the city came to fix
lights and took that 7.5 down they called me but i never saw it again, oh well i never like that kite anyway:wink2::wink2:
