Beamer III first flight
So the wife and I got out this past weekend with our recently acquired Beamer. This was absolutely the most fun that I've ever had flying a kite. We
had 5-8 mph winds that were very constant and the kite was a breeze to fly.
I also think that the wife is completely hooked since she is talking about trying to get out again this weekend if the winds are good. Oh and she
mentioned something about keeping the beamer for herself when I get a bigger kite :o . Thanks so much for recommending the kite, it is awesome and a
great package for beginners like us.

Glad to hear you had good winds to practice up with your new kite in. I'm also glad to hear that the wife is pushing for another kite as well! It's
hard to go wrong when the wife is on your side!

We were at Darden Towe Park in Charlottesville and the wind was very beach like. It's on localkitespots.com and the park is higher then much of the
surroundings. The forecast isn't looking great for wind but they get that wrong so often around here that we will just have to wait and see if we can
get out. If the wind looks iffy we may head up to where the wife works and see how it goes since it is a lot closer to the house. I'm going to be at a
scrimmage until late tomorrow night so no clue when we might get out.
