PL Race mod...
I have no idea how old my buggy is. Bought it used. Are all PL Race w/rear axle suspension buggies based off the beefier PL Comp XR+ buggy?
I don't feel as though the bug is wrickety at all now, but I run on soccer fields. I will run on bumpier (cultivated) fields later.
Would the PL Race buggy w/suspension not be a good candidate for a larger tire mod.
I am thinking about adding extra wides all around or changing forks to allow for BF lights. Are extra wides larger in diameter too? I don't understand
how the numbers work and they look similar , in diam., to the standard (at PL's web site).
All rubbish, this idea?
Thanks,
Paul

The PL Race buggy would be ok with midis, they come in 16 and 18" versions, but that would be as far as I would go with this buggy, they are not built
with withstand the forces of anything bigger like big foots etc

thnx for your help PTW.
I've been searching the net for a while and found the PL Race buggy came out ~ 2000. If mine is that old, I doubt it is of beefier build type.
I'll price out some midis though

this set up is well rooted but you'll have to choke up the down tube to get the weight over the rear axle to make it stick good
and i convert it over to the big foot wheels and fork but it will punish the welding on the forks during hard riding cause it will roll over
everythinhg in its path like a tank
