At a point it becomes a personal thing. Give up some control for the simplicity of a bar or enjoy finer control with handles.
With a smaller kite and handles you will get a larger usable wind range. It will perform better in low wind . In high wind you can tweak the brakes to
slow down or power boost.
I liked bars but slowly went back to handles on my Fixed bridle kites.
I use depower kites and bars most on the land board now.
