I have been exchanging emails for a long time with Wayne Carkeek aka Jimmy22 from New Zealand, he has come up with many many good ideas for the development of kite buggies, one of those ideas is the leading link. He originally looked at the Harley front end and adapted it, found the components, and developed it through many hours of trials and experimenting.

I have now made one of those front ends for the Dominator, the beauty of these front ends are the wheels absorbs all the lumps and bumps of the terrain while your feet stay perfectly still. I have made a short video so you can see for yourself how effective this system is, obviously I am jumping up and down on the buggy and the wheel is staying still, but in a beach situation it will be the other way around.

Cost dosnt come into it, I will get the things I need and want no matter what the cost, if I can't afford parts, I do mods for other buggiers to help pay for things, my buggying costs are self sufficent and don't interfere with our household budget.

Hi, it would depend on a few factors like what size wheel you would be using etc

...the main purpose of my webby is to pass on ideas and information to fellow buggiers, so they in turn can either have a go at making it themselves or find a local fabricator to make it for them. The site is more of a hub of information and interesting photos and ideas, rather than a platform to get any work...if I am in the garage I am not kiting and I have to get the balance right, its about 50/50 at the moment, but there have been times when I have had to get jobs done for people when the wind has been perfect.....thats when the ballance is wrong.

I have put links on that page to where to get the elastomers from, I hope you have a bash or find someone to construct you a leading link, as like I said I am sure this is the way forward to more comfortable kite buggying
