ebay kite buggy

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&sspagename...

Weight is about 28lbs for shipping, This seems low for a buggy?

Any Idea if this is a decent buggy to get started with on the Oregon and Washington beachs?

Thanks
Brian

Do a search on "kite trike" or "rockville" on this forum. That will give you all the pros and cons you will need to make an informed decision. I own one and it suits my needs fine. However, the seat sucks and the front wheel assembly has issues. They both can be overcome but if you have deeper pockets I would upgrade from the start.

instead of that buggy check out this thread.

I've seen the buggy, and it's in great shape.

And he doesn't live to far from ya. :)

I agree !

If you read past threads the general feeling is that this buggy will get you started but it will leave you looking to upgrade almost right away. The comp. xl is an affordable buggy that you possibly won't ever want to trade up. Peter Lynn has tons of extras to change it up without having to buy a whole new buggy.

A used P.L. will take you a LOT farther than a new Kite Trike.

You get what you pay for in this sport !

Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.

Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .
