PL Wind Range Calculator
I don't think I can post the link but if you Google "peter lynn wind range calculator" you should get a link to a page with a cool little thing that
takes your weight (you enter it...it doesn't magically weigh you through your chair) and discipline (land or water) and tells you the wind ranges on
the PL kites. If you're savvy enough you should be able to do the conversion to open foils, LEIs etc. as long as you know the rough equivalencies from
the PL Arcs to these other varieties. According to this I should have been holding onto a 16 when I hit the water, not the 10. Could even have had the
19 up.
I knew I'd been flying underpowered. Like yesterday - I "should" have been flying a 7-10m foil, not the Rage. I guess with the kite sized right you
don't have to drop it right into the power to play. I'll (cautiously) try getting it right.
If Google doesn't get it add the words "kite" and "fantastic" as well and you should get it.

Hey AJ - what weight are you (if you don't mind me asking ; ) and were you on water or land. I wanna pop over there and see what the difference is
between what it says you "should/could" have been flying compared to what you were actually flying. The longer lines gives you a bigger powerzone,
right?
