which buggy

Need some input on this one.
I am new to this forum so here goes.

Have a chance to buy a buggy, and I'm looking at either the PL bigfoot or a Libre v-Max.

Input on which is more versital, stronger, better bang for the buck, upgrade, and which holds value better, longer.

Thanks for any input

The Libre is much better made. I have had axle troubles with the pl xr and I think it has (not sure so look it up) the same one as the BF and it has more force on it.

From what I understand (maybe someone can clarify), but the Bigfoot is a XR+ with bigfoot tires and a bigfoot fork. Don't the XR+ and the bigfoot have the same 95cm rear axle?

It depends on where you read what but the Bigfoot should have a wider axle. 120 maybe? 140? And I THINK longer side rails. I'm happy with the XR+ to this point but was hoping for longer side rails.

No, but it's easy to think so. In recent years the bigfoot has shipped with the 1.2m axle as stated here, but they used to ship with the narrow axle. The parts are interchangeable such that you could piece by piece upgrade a Comp XR+ to a Bigfoot, but theyare different at the end of the day. Not only are the side rails longer but the downtube is different with the kinked gooseneck.

When you are done the only parts the same are the seat, bearings and 20mm axle bolts.
