New Kites and rainy days

Up In Bham this weekend, swung by Powerzone's to pick up the goods. Looks like he did a nice job depowering my blade 6.6 and also walked out with a SA 1.5 15m .....Couldnt sleep... woke up early and it was pouring.. then it stopped... then 5 minutes later its raining again.. this has been going on for hours... Gotta love the Pac Northwest!

Soon though... I will get these babies out of the bag and checkout the SA in all its glory.

That sucks man! I've flown my 3m trainer in pouring rain one time, just to do it, and it kept filling the cells with water, so it was cool to fly it back and forth across the window, then dive it, like a bucket would come out. It was HOWLING though, so it was enough to keep it up, even full of water. I imagine you could fly an inflatable in rain fairly well though.

Rain and or high tides..:ticking:

I did manage to get a few miles today in between the rains. Only then to have the skies clear up very nicely, just in time for high tide :frog:

congrats on the silverarrow steve

I know what you mean about the rain. I found a new spot yesterday though that's only 8 miles from port ludlow and it looks like its going to work great for all the south winds this fall.

btw it works at high tide :)
