looked like you are getting the hang of it.
stay on a smaller kite, it won't snatch you off the board. keep it still on a run and work for board control. keeping the kite still with good power
and work on riding lines, put power THROUGH the board just like scudding. with more power you will want and need to keep your balance low. like on
transitions fly the kite smooth in change of direction and sitting down into the harness as the kite rises. board direction and control into a
transition helps with a smooth exit from the trans with good direction set up. the sliding thing works but you struggle with too much power and the
kite will actually looses traction without aggressive redirection . which is a timing thing , control in a balanced comfortable speed gives you
the feedback that you need to progress without being out of control. your body weight shifting and timing help manage the power, without confidence
in this union between kite and board they will go their seperate directions and you will be on the ground.
LOOK where you are going FEEL where the kite is and what is doing. choosing a smaller kite will make this controllable. practice, patience and pads.
from what i have seen you are doing fine. go toesside soon on a slow carving downwind turn, it will challenge your timing, kit control and balance.
do it just running on your feet the same as you would on the board the kite control is the same just faster.
hope this helps

Chad, I'd like for him to just get to watch you sometime, and listen to you explain what you are doing. Maybe we can crash in on one of your sessions
one of these days. I either have or saw a picture of you with your back only inches from the ground and I imagine you are in a transition waiting for
the power to kick in again and pick you up instead of dragging you off on your toes. Your ARC looks very nice for keeping smooth power flowing
through the board. Do you ever go airborne?

yes i have been jumping on the landboard for about a month. actually i sacraficed a good water day(15-20) and did the ATB and the jumps where coming
just like on the water. and made my water jumps better. the speeds where slower on land than on the water and required better balance and timing.
a well powered kite, timing and balance MAKE IT DOABLE
we can get a ride on when ever you'RE ready. 3-4 day warning fair enough to set up a day?

yeah, we have to plan ahead at least that far. Are the beaches at Hilton Head open for kiting activities now? I guess since you spend a thousand
hours a year doing this there, the sand is great for our wheels?
