Motorola S9-Wireless headphones-AWESOME!

A while ago you were all lucky enough to read my #@%$#!in about ipod corded headphones and how much I hated the cord. Lets face it- we already have enough lines between the kite, killers and other safety parts!:dunno:

Not to mention them falling out of my ears on landings and having to land the kite so I could readjust

So the quest was on to find wireless headphones that actually worked! After much research I settled on Motorolas S9s. They are $100 new but go for $50 os so on Ebay described as new. I was lucky to get a pair for $12.50 delivered!

They are great! Sound is better than any other wired headphones I have had and I have tried the following: Sony, Koss, JVC, Seinnheiser and a couple of cheeseball brands. I was worried about the range but I was UNABLE to break the connection untill I was 20 feet OUTSIDE my house! So flying with it in my pocket- or even in a kite bag away from me will be possible. Quality looks great and reliability is very good.

So, if you are looking for a new set of headphones for flying- try these. It is one less cord to worry about and they do not fall out of your ears- it is a headband behind the ears style that works great.

I am too lazy -and scared its dark out:no:!! to go out to my car and try on my brain bucket with the phones. I will try it tomorrow- right now I would probably say they should work fine.

PS; i just broke my 2gb chip for add on memory in my phone!!! I was trying to install it and that little silver latch thing would not lock in place. So I pushed harder and CRACK!! Back to Staples tomorrow- maybe I will wear the S9s and my helmet as I drive there!!:lol:

that sucks! keep us updated i would be interested in those.....my Oakley Thumps are useless with my helmet now that i have gotten into landboarding the legs are just too thick and hurt my head as the helmet puts pressure on them. I been using Skull candy stuff. it's not wireless but at least it's in ear and comes with different fittings for different ears.. they def stay in when i am jumping and stuff but do get in the way when i crouch down about ready to jump and the wire sometimes gets caught up on my knee. LOL not annoying enough yet to feed wire inside clothes, but wireless sure seems great :piggy:

Remember I wrote I accidently tied my shoe and incorporated my headphone wire into the shoe knot because I was trying to fly AND tie! Sort of like don't drink and drive!

I bought my brother a pair of S9s...but he never used them. So now I have them...along with every other tech gift I got him. (Awesome HD tv tuner card, camera, and more. I refuse to buy him clothes.)

Now I'm going to start using them again! Just got a new phone (Nothing special, Samsung Gleam.) so I'll use it all the time.

I have a bunch of 2gb MicroSD cards...shoot me a PM if you are in need of one. (I don't think I really need 4 of them!)

i tried them with my helmet- no real issues! at first it is hard to get them to sit right but I found a sweet spot and it feels just like wired ones.

Also- they are sweat and water resistant:wee:

Wearing mine right now. Just got my new phone, and just wanted to break them in.

The controls on the acutally headphones will take some getting used to.

I just found an old memory card...now I'm cracking out Kate Nash again. :singing:

How many times have you pushed the phone button thinking it is the volume? The controls are not exactly user friendly. That is the only downfall I have found though so I will take that!

Just take some getting used to. You kind of have to feel around before hitting buttons.

Not sure on this one. I did a Google search on Kyle2008 and the first 10 results are all for some type of forum. All the accounts were started on 10/3/08, and all of the posts that have been posted on any of them are the same type of crap as the ones on here from this SPAMMER !!!!

Also I love these headphones and have them on my I must have for flying list. These bad boys would come in handy.
