How much depower

Last week I bought my first depowerable, a used North Husky 8m. Unfortunately the conditions were not there to fly it but I am wondering what to expect in terms of pull if I can launch it in mild conditions with the bar out as well as the trim strap. Question is will it pull as much or more than my Flexifoil Bullet 3.5m on handles?

Hey, as a rough estimate, you are proabably looking at the power of a 4-6m kite with the Husky. I have never flown it, but that's just a quick estimation on an 8m depower kite.

I think Baluk is right.
The Husky is a good kite ! Well made and well behaved ! 8m is a good size for average winds. You will eventually want a larger kite as well but won't believe that at 1st ! If you got that kite under $500 complete and in good shape you made a good deal !

Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.

Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

There are 2 people here who have the Husky. I haven't flown it but have ridden with them. It's well made and well behaved.
The one fellow has moved to an all Access quiver but I never heard Him complain about His Husky once !

If you bought it From Vancouver I may know the seller.

It's sad to see a quality kite like that drop so much in price but that's the way it is !
