where did you buy them (link)?

I've got a spare set from GI. I got a quote from a bearing manufacturer that is located in the same town I work in and their prices were outrageous. I think I paid $18 for the GI bearings and the local manufacturer wanted something like $60 for what appeared to be the same thing. So I bought from GI. I'm sure there was a difference but I never saw them. I simply read the numbers off on the side of the bearing and got a quote over the phone for Abec RS 6001 or whatever they are.

here is the link http://www.vxb.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&St...

VXB 12mmx28mmx8mm i assume that's size 8MM is what i measured, could go with 10mm or 11mm on race width. the cost is a little more but might last longer this are steel not stainless. the zz denotes metal sheilds and the rs denotes rubber seals 6001 is the size

Chad you probably wear things out that the normal user never has to think about. You just pound you stuff with miles and hours of use. You should be proud. You won't look back at your life someday wishing you had spent less time with kites.

the primary purpose of the recreational gear is to wear it out filling your life with efforts of fun.

TIME... use it wisely it can not be replaced

when the fun junk breaks there is an endless mountain of things to replace it including but not limited to the fun effort of repairing and breaking again.

fun toys break easily , fun tools will break you.

if it will produce callus', strength, endurance and knowledge a lifetime combination may be at hand.

i am glad the wind found me, it had been screaming in my hears for some time
