I've been a wallflower for over a month now, soaking in information, feeling a little lost at times but excited all the same.

I'm a long time friend of Dagon's and upon moving back into the area he suckered me into a day of kiting and a little time in his Libre...from that day on I've been hook. I waited a little bit to make sure it wasn't a passing infatuation but being that I done nothing but obsess about kites day and night I feel confident that this will be a life long afair.

Dagon has been gracious enough to give me his Flexfoil buggy and his 4m Samurai on extended loan and I've been heckling Dino(Dakitez) about my first purchase. Both who've been a great help. I've already started bugeting for a Libre V-Max.

Anyways I just wanted to come out of the shadows and just say that there's a new kitebuggy fiend in the NorCal area. I'm open to suggestions/recommendations on just about anything and will gladly accept invites to get out and go fly pretty much anywhere in a 3-4 radius of Sacramento.

You're lucky to be out there in NorCal. There seems to be a really great (and ever expanding) goup of kiters out there from what I've gathered.

is it windy there, we just had a 40mph gust come by with hail and lightning:eekdrull:, five min later it was gone. backed down to 12-18mph.

Inland is calm, barely a leaf stirring. Odd how I use to think of them as good days.

I'm guessing it would be about a 30-40 min drive in rush hour traffic to make it to Galt, so I'm game anytime after work...and ofcourse the weekends.

Hello and welcome to the NOR-CAL Kiters group that I think needs to be a club... anyhow if you're making it down to galt then DAKITEZ will probably take you to the sod farm and I hope I'm there to enjoy your fellow kiteing company...

Nice to have you on board... watch out for DAKITEZ, before long you'll have more kites than you know what to do with... He likes to let you fly what ever you want and he has a lot of great kites so expect to find a lot to obsess over... After I met him I think I'm averaging more than a kite a month... He's Great Guy!!!

My lunch hours are much more fun now. Google earth some undeveloped land and get 30 min of flying...I need a roof rack to have the buggy set up....hmmm.

I like, seems a better idea than buying a Thule rack and then moding it. I may have to see how rusty my metal working/welding skills are.

We should form a norcal email group so when one of us plans on flying at the sod farms, ocean beach, or white lake we can all get on board.

hey Tyson, I was telling Soylent (Nate) about how nice seaside is, I went up there for SOBB 2007 and I loved it, I need to go back, the beach is by far my favorite place to buggy.
