Sonic Snow Kite
Hello ya'll,
I was wondering if anyone knew the wind range on the Cabrinha snow kite 17m? I'm thinking about getting this kite, however I want to get it for
low wind conditions. The problem is I don't know what kind of wind it takes to fly this baby. Does anyone know what kite Cabrinha replaced the
snow kite with? Is it the C02? And if it is, do they have the same wind range? I've looked all over the net for this info, and I'm getting
very frustrated that I can't find the info I'm looking for. This is more or less my last resort. Any info here would be greatly appreciated.
Also, if you have flown this kite, just a quick review would also be of great help to me. Thanks in advance.:tumble::tumble:

Thanks for the response and links. However, it's still not what I'm looking for. Cabrinha made a kite up until 2003 called the Cabrinha
Sonic snow kite. It is an LEI and is yellow and red. You can find it being sold on ebay a lot. But none of the dealers knows what the wind range on it
is. Even Cabrinhas web site does not have this info. I would like to buy the 17m, but I need it for low wind conditions (10kph). I need to know the
stats before I spit out 700$. If its wind range starts at 15kph, then this isn't the kite for me. The reason I was talking about the CO2 was
because I heard they manufactured this kite to replace the Sonic. If this is the case, I want to know if they both have the same wind range. It's
hard finding info on something that isn't even in circulation anymore. At this point I'm relying on what people that have flown it have to
say.
Thanks again for any info any of you have. I want to buy this kite within the next three weeks, so hopefully someone who can help me reads this post
soon. :O)

Truly the best way to get information about an out of production kite is to email the mfr directly:
General Information: info@cabrinhakites.com
Product Questions: support@cabrinhakites.com
Warranty Support: warranty@cabrinhakites.com
In fact, by taking a quick look at Cabrinha's support page, I see that there is a link to download the Sonic Snow owners manual that you were
looking for:
http://www.Cabrinhakites.com/manuals/zip/ck03um_sonicsnow_pd...
Other manuals too:
http://www.Cabrinhakites.com/support/
On the down side... I looked at the manual and found that their wind range chart rather vague. Therefore, I'll revert you back to the contact
info as the best chance to get a real answer.
Hey, isn't it funny how Ebay kite sellers seldom have any support info? Buyers beware!
