Kalifornia

Gonna throw this back up here... Who buggys in California? I'm in Dublin, near Oakland looking for like-minded buggiers. I know you're out there!

Hey Slinger-
Yeah, the airport is rideable, but unfortunately they've started the process of preparing it for flooding. We were out Tuesday afternoon a couple of weeks ago and the contractors booted us. So it's Sundays now until it's over. On an up note, they've graded another huge portion that was unavailable earlier.

So, get your ass up there on a Sunday and check it out... good terrain( hillocks, bumps, etc.), tarmac, and graded dirt. For someone used to a soccer field(me), it's like heaven.

What are the specifics for buggying in Monterey? I'm thinking I'm going to need someplace with some room occasionally!
Thanks for the info.

Hey, I resemble that remark. ;)

I've been making it down to Seaside about every-other-weekend or so. I have a 3m and 5m Ozone Samurai's that I've been using to plow up the beach with (mostly skudding with the 5).

My Libre Full Race should be in next week or so., and is currently with the distributor in Vancouver, B.C.

I can hardly wait!

For those into landboarding, the beach in long beach (so cal) is a great place to roll because it's a downwind run down the coast. Just make sure you have a lift back to your starting point.:spin:
