Best board to upgrade to
I started to KGB about 1.5 months ago and I am addicted. I am using one of the first MBS boards produced that I have had for 10-15 years. Its big,
heavy and starts to wobble at high speeds but it has served me well. I want to upgrade but need some advise. I have read other postings but what I
am trying to determine is if the MBS Pro 90 model would be too high end or if its just the best no matter how good I am. There is a MBS Blade for
sale near my house for $85 but I don't want to buy it and then want to upgrade to something else after a few months. Really what I am wanting is the
very best board that is not out of my abilities and that I wont ever outgrow. I want my next board to be my last board. Any advise?
Also, when using the Search function it really didn't locate much. It would be nice if there was a section that would list the best boards for
Expert, Advanced, Beginner, Budget Friendly, or just best board overall for everyone no matter of skill or budget.
Thanks

Tire sizes
Sorry, also can someone let me know the benefit of the different tire sizes when it comes to KGB on grass?
Thanks.

domdino has an MBS pro 90 for sale on the forum right now for a good price. I dont know anything about the newer MBS boards, but the Blade is probably
not what you want... great for beginning, but I just upgraded, and the difference is huge.
check out Ground Industries, I am really impressed with mine.
As far as sizes go, most boards are using 8" tires, and the only real alternative I have seen is some wider tires that GI is touting as having better
lateral grip, with a different tread.
Check out the different sites and you will find some different charts that will tell you about the different boards offered and what they do better at
(as far as downhilling, kiting, jumping, cruising, etc.), but I have found very little about what is good for beginner or expert. If its a beginner
board, it will probably say so on the boardmakers site. You can probably safely assume that the more expensive the board, the more advanced it is (at
least with Ground Industries and MBS)

I agree !
The Blade is a board that would still be satisfying you for a while but is still not much of a leap up. It is also big and heavy but would take you to
jumping.
I have a personal Love for this board and would pay $85 for it just to have one again, in a heart beat ! If for no other reasons, the big tires and
having it on hand for people just starting out. It is stable and very adjustable with egg shocks.
While you are correct that you will also want to move up from this board @ $85 I suggest you pick it up and use it for a while? Since you will be
riding in fields there will truly be an advantage using this big board for a while. It inspired great confidence in Macboy and myself ? A smaller
board with smaller tires will be just that bit tougher on turf !
I am questioning myself now on if the tires on my Blade were actually bigger ? They seemed to be ? Great board for turf anyway !
