I had buggy abs but that is dissipating quickly. Almost no definition at all any more.

I'll pass on the well wishes. Just talked to his wife and he was in and out in 40 minutes. No complications at all. On to recovery now.

Friends, I'm doing well, not alot of pain, thanks for the concern and thoughts. Had an easy time in the surgery, no problems; but they forgot to do the tummy tuck and the man-boob lift! The doctor told my wife to get me walking around so my wife conned me into Christmas shopping. I feel like the old man from the old Laugh-In show who shuffled along (Tim Conway?) at a snails pace but I made it and now heading for my easy chair to watch some more dumb movies. I should be back in the buggy in about 3-4 weeks. Not supposed to pick anything up that I can't put in my mouth for 2 weeks-- I had no problem with a foot long sub, large pizza, --I might have to refigure the max weight rating of the tamdem "Weight Train" BeamerBob and I rode, after my "recovery"!

Looking forward to another trip ANYWHERE!

Trips to sand and wind are good things for sure, especially with great friends that love kites.

Ouch! Bummer on the surgery. Did you know that was coming or was it emergency?

I had super killer kitesurf/ATB abs and all but had heart surgery.

Recovery should be pretty quick.

Speleopower, I knew it was coming. I had it planned to buggy at Folly for a last hurrah for a few weeks. My scars won't be as cool as yours though. Just a few poke holes and a 2 inch incision. I had great beer abs before the surgery. Well, I'll still have great beer abs...

My zipper is from March Friday the 13 2002! Got a transplant human aortic valve and "gor-tex" ascending aorta :wee:

I've also had big surgery on my shoulder with 8 holes punched. That was from excessive bone growth pinching my tendons. I'm big boned :tumble:
