I've been boarding for a little while now but am just now getting interested in jumping...

How did you work your way to getting that kind of air...did you start in light wind with small redirects? Any recommendations on getting started jumping?

@ lunchbox, i've always flown my kites to get the most out of them and as my ability got greater then the height of the jumps increased. also some kites are more liftier then others and if you take them out in higher winds then you are going to go higher. i always try to scare myself at least once a session!!!!

@ikemiester, getting tthe board off is the easy part. its the getting it back on that takes the skill. a good way to practise is to try board ons from a standing start.
