More extreme...more dangerous.

Looks fun though...might be good to pick up as I'm moving into the city next year!

It looks like a good way to break your neck. kind of a harsh learning curve seeing that you have to be on a hard surface in order for the tension bars to activate. That and one slip and you can kiss your wrists goodbye. Hey I'm sure some people watching me buggy would probably say the same thing - except sand is so much more forgiving. Looks cool though - are you a gymnast?

I don't think these things would work too well on grass or any soft surface - you could get amazing air - the only problem is coming down on a parking lot since that's the only wide area you could combine these two.

my intention so far is just do running with them, as aparently you can run very fast and you don't get tired that quickly using them. But no gymnastics for me with them so far in my plans

I see broken wrists in those contraptions.
Do a search for Poweriser Crash. This is a pretty simple crash but looks like it hurt like heck!

Not sure these would be worth the pain of broken wrists.

They do look like fun! Good luck and be safe!

Here's my new no wind hobby. This my friend riding. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ti1KcbmoXpE It doesn't hurt so bad to crash. Problem is they are $7000 plus new.
Here's some buddies up in VA. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUapmQCp83U&feature=relat...

Those things look dangerous. Who needs them.
Reminds me of Parkour (freerunning)....

Hey speleopower,

Joshs' got skills for sure. Wish I was young again.

Got hooked on standup skis back in '86. Raced closed course and freestyle till '91. Still have a '95 750 sxi standup to play around on and a Yamaha XL1200 for fun with the kids.
The standups can't be beat for a great time in the surf for sure.
I remember when Eric Malone from PA was just getting started at the local events. He's come a long way.....I see Josh and Eric teamed up with WFWA.
